Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) is an evidence-based practice effective in reducing stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD symptoms, as well as chronic pain and increasing physical and emotional health. Inquiries are welcome about customized classes for agencies, corporations, and family groups.

Class includes a workbook. Maximum of 7 participants permitted and minimum of 4 needed for the class to run. Meditation and gentle yoga are integrated into the program as well as the science behind mindfulness.
IL Social Work CEUs are available for $40.00.
Tuition is $525.00. Save $25.00 and pay by cash or check. Please make checks payable to Kristen Brendel, PhD. Payment plans are also available.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL PPO is also accepted, which may cover 100% of the course. Contact your insurance for a quote of benefits. If paying with insurance, a $75.00 deposit is due at the time of registration, which is fully refundable if all 8 classes are attended. Refunds will be made one to ten days after the session ends by check to your address on file. No make-ups or refunds are available for missed or late class sessions.
