Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) is an evidence-based practice effective in reducing stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD symptoms, as well as chronic pain and increasing physical and emotional health. Additional classes may be offered on Saturdays at different times to meet demand. Inquiries are welcome about customized classes for private, agencies, corporations, and family groups.
Class meets for 8 Thursdays beginning on Thursday, April 5th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Our final class session will be May 24, 2018.
Class includes a workbook. Maximum of 6 participants permitted and minimum of 4 participants needed for the class to run. Meditation and gentle yoga are integrated into the program as well as the science behind mindfulness.
$499.00 cash or check. A 3.5% fee is added if using a credit card. Payment plans are also available. Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL PPO is also accepted, which may cover 100% of the course.
